Uh? I thought Agents of Shield's ratings were piddling while Gotham got much more (by virtue of being on Fox).

I don't care for either show, but I keep hearing AoS is going to get canceled due to poor ratings.

Nah, AoS's ratings aren't bad. Not as great as the first season, but far from dooming the show. In any case, that article is comparing first season to first season, because most shows have their strongest ratings in the first season. Saying a show that's only had a handful of episodes is better than a show that is already into a different season is kind of a weird comparison to make, ratings wise.

Nayrt

Actually, AOS's ratings are rapidly declining. The last couple episodes had the lowest ratings yet. Most seem to have already written off the show now, which is a shame because it was finally getting really good and I've grown attached to it :(

Oh come on now, Whedon fans have been claiming that it was "finally getting really good" ever since episode 2 of season 1 came out. It might as well have been the tagline for the show "Agents of SHIELD, honestly its getting good now". Apart from the one episode that had Don't Fear The Reaper as its pre-credits teaser, it has sucked consistently.
