I like when shows let friends actually be friends and not get overly paranoid about shipping (which rarely happens in today's shows). People are going to ship what they want, no matter what you put up so if you're telling me that two characters are best friends, but they never (for example) visit each other in the hospital (without a hospital avoidance reason stated on the show), you're full of crap.

Yeah, I feel like all friendships on TV today are "yeah, we're friends, but I'm so much more in love with/interested in my boyfriend/girlfriend" or outright "haha lol did we mention how gay we act? We act so gay! Hahaha!"

I don't necessarily *hate* that second one, but it is annoying and usually pointless.
