My brother's name is Jonathan and this past year I ran into someone with the exact same name and spelling (I guess Jonathon is the other common spelling). He told me that when he was younger, he asked his mom why he named him that way. She responded because Jonathan is like Nathan but cooler. I *never* realized how it was the same word just with a Jo at the beginning!
