Going to the letting agency (again) to report problems with my flat (again). Absolutely nothing's been done since the last time we reported structural problems with the flat. At the moment we're still battling the problems we reported back in June, along with electrical problems that are a literal fire hazard and have also resulted in the bathroom light shitting out. Let me reiterate that we first started complaining about this in June.

Other than that, writing. A lot of it.

I am sorry you are having such trouble with your flat! I am unsure how that works in Europe. Is the letting agency in charge of the flat or the landlord?

When we went back for the thing in June, we were told that the reason it was taking so long was because they had to contact the landlord, who had to contact their repairman. Or something like that. Literally everything in this country requires you to go through about 30 people before getting your end result. A guy was sent out to look at the problems, but we haven't heard anything from anyone since. This was back in July.

I'm thinking about looking through the lease to try and find anything about whether or not we can call someone ourselves and charge it to either the landlord or letting agency, since that's how it is in the house my parents are renting.

If they end up not doing shit, I might be able to bring this whole clusterfuck up when they inevitably try to take away our deposit because one of my housemates has managed to damage the flat, but knowing my luck that won't work either and they'll get away with leaving us in a house that's ready to blow.
