Prison does a shit job at rehabilitation. I'm all for job training, etc., but all joking aside, I think prison for non-violent criminals is the wrong answer.

I dunno. Property damage might not physically hurt anybody, but it's still a huge mess and the consequences for the victims can be significant. If somebody stole my car, I would kind of want them to learn that crime is a very, very bad idea.
