THANK YOU!

Oh my gosh, I had to read this for 11th grade English, and I feel like everyone missed the point when we were doing seminars.

8, you are amazing. Extra points for the Maya comment.

10. I adore Daine/Numair. I think they are possibly the cutest ship I have ever read (in a book series), and I want their story to be continued so very very badly. I re-read the books on a semi-yearly basis and they break my heart every single time (which probably sounds weird but just-so much love). Unfortunately, I am also terrified of what fandom would do to them. ;.;

[identity profile] militarypenguin.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
16. But psychological puppet shows are the BEST kinds of entertainment! For me anyway, haha. Honestly, you're far from alone on that.

17. And that is how I feel about RPs in general.

4) That book was amazing!
6) It might be because they were too afraid to say before. Or because her death scene was an incredible indignity compared to other characters', and afterwards the story seemed to pretend she didn't exist.
41) There are a bunch of older fangirls. It's making me want to see it, even though people will start thinking I'm twelve.

[identity profile] friendshipbeam.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and after reading replies - WHAT. There's an Immortals secret and I can't see it? X_X

(Anonymous) 2007-12-21 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
1. wait huh

9. lol there are so many colbert/jon shippers

If you're in HS, I wouldn't worry about it, but if you're in college, you might want to consider maturing up the way you dress a bit.

18. Yes, yes, YES! I am so right there with you. George Bailey is one of my favorite heroes of all time, and I too, would do anything for a man like him.

[identity profile] shinai.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
19. Signed.

37. Uh. Do want?

(Anonymous) 2007-12-21 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
46) Christ, you have terrible taste.

[identity profile] mildmay.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! While, I don't necessarily care if people empathize or sympathize with him (I can't really judge anyone on loving a villain. I love a few myself), personally I don't like him him. I find him repetitive, shallow and boring. I like villains who have a little more depth. Or, at least, who are less predictable.

(Anonymous) 2007-12-21 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
1. Oh this has GOT to be fake.
2. I agree with the original secret. Except I include people who wear them at anime conventions.
28. You're allowed to not like things, regardless of how insane your friends go over them. It doesn't need to be a secret. A LOT of posters here don't seem to understand that.
38. THIS IS A CHILDREN'S CARTOON SHOW WTF WTF WTF WTF WTFFFF

[identity profile] runawayblue.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
IT'S MY FAVOURITE MARITIME TIGER NOVEL. I'm sorry, it just slipped out.

But seriously, my love for that book knows no bounds. One of the best I've ever had the pleasure of reading. It sucks when people talk it down, though - clearly they did not grasp the concept.

[identity profile] siriuslynow.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
4. I've been wanting to pick that book up lately, I'll add it to my reading list. ;)

28. Aha, the trick is to not take it seriously. It's nothing more than a blockbuster, adventure movie meant to lighten your mood. ;)

It also helps if you don't watch the sequals.(Seriously, the third one had my head spinning. Just stick to alot of sword fights kthx.)

8. Hey, some of us like him because he's a deranged, psychopathic, brain-eating killer, thanks.

44. No one considered Wuthering Heights a romance until Ellis Bell was revealed to actually be Emily Bronte who was *gasp!* a woman. Gotta love those gender stereotypes, eh?

23. Oh God, I haven't heard the new album yet, I'm so scared to now that he's gone. D:

21) THIS SECRET PLEASES MY INNER GAIAFAG

Anyway, I can see where you're coming from, but I'm afraid I don't ship it because it contradicts my headcanon that Ian is a virginal dork vampire WTF.

I also have headcanon that Ruby is closely related to the late Rosalie... but even with this considered, Ian/Ruby would be one of the least incestuous couples out there... damn you Gaia! Why are the incest pairs the ones with the best scenes/images/apparent chemistry?!

7;... I use femmeslash on the rare occasions when I don't just say 'yuri'. I wasn't aware that was something I needed a punch in the face for. Anyone want to enlighten me?
8; Truthful secret is truthful. >_>
17; *snort* *sings about small worlds*
46; Ahaha. Oh, Ethan. ♥
49;... Coincidentally enough, I was watching Never Mind the Buzzcocks just earlier and started shipping Bill/fake!Bill. I was dying laughing at myself and then forgot all about it until now. XD

I fucking love Sylar, and you know what, I don't even have to defend myself. And, for the record, Maya was such an annoying character, I have no idea why they didn't just leave her dead at the end of the finale.

Re: #8

[identity profile] asdhjfbciwu3487.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
It seems the Heroes writers aren't fans of leaving many people dead after they get killed...

8. Hahah, Maya sucks. I really wanted to like her, what with the doomy power and all but she's got the spine of a jellyfish.

10. I have a feeling I'd agree with 10, if only it would load. Sad.

20. That was the first episode I ever saw. I still love it. Fucked up ep for a fucked up show.

[identity profile] relmneiko.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Albedo is awesome friggin' incarnate! He does the best speeches in the entire series, hands down, and he has all of the best lines. He's got to be the most sympathetic nutbar character I've ever seen, anywhere.

Words cannot describe how much I fangirl Crispin Freeman. He does the best maniacal laughter. XD

If you're a fangirl, then I'm one too. Albedo = yesyesyes.

[identity profile] slatterly.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
4. ...it wha?

Somehow I came out of that book thinking the tiger bit was true and the other thing was a story he made up to get the investigators off his case. Now I feel kind of sad.

[identity profile] indianne.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
but that's the point! Given that he gets from point A to Point B does it really matter how it happens? Which story (if any) is true isn't really important, and since there's no evidence apart from his stories you can believe either.
