I can totally understand this. I was very interested in the idea of the show but could not sit through one episode. But, I think it's actually accurate. I know these kinds of people in real life, the ones who dress up just like that and are the most average attractive people hanging out with others who do the exact same thing (I'm not saying the actors are but the characters and how they're portrayed).
But I guess all of the styling needed to just be dark and sexy to fit the theme.
