Yeah.

I try to make myself feel better by telling myself that as a thirty-something these books weren't written for me so it's no big deal that I can't relate to them. Sometimes that works, sometimes it just reminds me that yeah, I am an old fart.

Actually I'm feeling more and more of a disconnect to fandom in general lately for this very reason.
