You won't get what OP is trying to say unless you know the show. They used to be normal teenagers, she loved him a lot (to the point of obsession, really), he used to bully her/ignore her/not care. Then they both turn into geniuses and she changes. She uses her brains to get him to like her (by force, like, with science and stuff) and sometimes takes benefit of it for personal empowerment over everyone else because, well, she's a little too selfish. He stops her. Continues to mock her/shun her out. Audience like him, because he's good. Hate her because she does "bad" stuff.

Point is, neither of them is good at all. He's a douchebag and she's too obsessive to the point that it's pathetic, idk what is this show even.
