Then can I deem Great Gatsby YA? because like hell was any of that dealt with maturely. Same with Streetcar Named Desire. That one was just bizarre and a way of showing how an abusive man can love his wife, and that the skank of a sister trying to save her was wrong all along and deserved what she got for lying.

Except they weren't dealt with in a mature way. Siccing your friend on someone to rape the problem as an answer to the sister of your wife trying to get your wife out of an abusive relationship is hardly an immature subject handled maturely.

You really just want to defend your stupid as fuck viewpoint.

I don't mean that the characters are mature, I mean that the approach to it is.

And I'm not sure your reading of Streetcar Named Desire is entirely tenable.
