I've seen this dude's(?) mug like ten times in the Saren tag on tumblr already so you're hardly alone in seeing the similarities.
(personally, like another commenter I think he looks more like a transformer....and it should show just how out of touch with movies and stuff i am that I thought it WAS from a new Transformers movie until like, today...)
