I find all the cast - major and minor - to be fascinating. Its just hard to talk to anyone else sometimes about the others because everyone I know just love trying to ship Abby and Ichabod right now whereas I just want to talk about character motivations and speculate on what's gonna happen next.

I don't mind combing both (I totally heart platonic best friends Abby/Crane at the moment because they are adorable) - its just where I go to talk about the show is currently caught in the spiral of only wanting to talk about how Abby and Ichabod are perfect for one another (and should just go ahead and jump into bed together) to the exclusion of picking the rest of the episodes over for things to speculate on.

I like Andy! I'm always happy to see Andy show up. I have nothing against Nick either; he's pretty entertaining. (The way he pisses Ichabod off is both hilarious and delightful. Sorry, Ichabod. ILU.)

I can't say I like either of them as much as Abbie or Ichabod, but...that's fine?

NGL, not feeling much for Katrina or Abraham but again...whatever works for you.

Late so you probably won't see this, but yes, absolutely. He looks soooooooo annoyed and jealous and it brings me so much joy. I think Crane would rather anyone else in the world speak with Abbie than Nick. He just hates Nick in general so much it's hysterical.

I like Katrina, but I feel like her role is poorly written and under utilized. John Cho is awesome. The headless horseman is kind of meh for me, I can't get that excited about an abusive, controlling dude who doesn't have the sense to move on when the object of his obsession doesn't love him. Hawley is not bad, but he just seems superfluous to this show.

None of my reasons for being meh Katrina, Headless and Hawley have anything to do with the fact that they're white (and in Headless and Hawley's case) male, BTW. Methinks the OP doth protest too much.

The only one I don't find very interesting is Katrina, although the latest episodes have been changing my mind a bit about that. I feel like the first season, she was the MacGuffin - aside from the "omg, my wife is a witch!" stuff, she was mostly there for exposition. This season, she's feeling much more like a real character to me, and while I have sneaking suspicions about where her storyline (and Abbie's and Ichabod's along with it) will go, I'm more intrigued.

I adored John Cho's creepy character. He was complex, for sure, and I hope he comes back for more exploration of it. I know we don't have the whole backstory there. Abraham and Hawley... I could go either way.

Abbie and Jenny kick ass though. Really nothing to do with the fact that they're POCs, but that they're women that don't have to be "scary" or "bitchy" to be strong and independent. They can take care of themselves and use their brains. I love it.

I thought Andy was a pretty pointless character. But I've very interested in what's going on with Katrina and Abraham this season. I like that her intentions and motivations are kind of mysterious and she's kind of a liar.

I like pretty much all of these characters too! I LOVE Andy & Nick, and Abraham is definitely interesting. I started out liking Katrina quite a bit, but then...I don't know. She's been feeling a little obnoxious with the constant hand-wringing and near-crying. I thought we had a badass powerful witch, here! She's been a little better this season, though.

HOWEVER. I adore the Abbie-Ichabod dynamic (platonic or romantic, dun care, I want them to just be in each other's presence and bantering!) and both of them as their own characters, Irving and Henry are pretty compelling, and Jenny is FABULOUS.

(Can you tell I discovered this show a week ago and am a little obsessed?)

I think they're all pretty interesting characters. I'm not IN fandom (I just watch, enjoy, discuss with family/friends irl) so I wouldn't know the hate, but I honestly think what makes them more itneresting is :

a) their backstories are not completely known to us
b) we don't get full disclosure on them (it's abbie & crane's journey, the rest are trailing along for the ride)
c) they're doing some pretty interesting (and in the dark) activities.

Katrina got 99 secrets and Crane knows 1.
Abraham's point in the story is yet to be fully understood
Brooks' undying love for Abbie was sacrificial. I'm still hoping we see him again.
And Hollie is Indiana Jones to Mystery Caravan. Or should I say Carriage?

They're all interesting in their own right. Don't let the haters get to you (and I love the Mystery Carriage Crew).

I don't like these 4 BETTER than the main cast, but I do like them & think more screen time would be good.
