I thought it was a dual gesture thing there. One finger adjusting the glasses like a proper glasses man, the other touching dose lips in 3D to ensure the suddenly-creaming population picks up the game.

To this UK resident, two fingers up reads somewhat differently. Although I'm aware that's a local reading of that gesture, it's still funny, especially for someone as proper as Edgeworth.

while I'm aware of the two-fingers gesture in British slang, it still doesn't read like that at all. granted, the location of his middle finger is awkward regardless but his other fingers aren't curled, plus the angle and placement of his hand and the fact that he's just adjusting his glasses goddamn...

so definitely not deliberate. but if you want to read it as Edgey giving someone his own personal subtle fuck you, then you go right ahead.

The Frozen image that started the whole thing* is even less like the forks than this. If you don't want to check out the Daily Mail link above (and it's the Mail, so I wouldn't blame you), it's this pose - at least Edgy's fingers are mostly bent, and his thumb hidden in the image shown.
