I'll be straight with you, anon: if FS is the first place you've noticed this, that just means you haven't been in other places on the internet or aren't too familiar about how large groups of people in general work. It's not FS, it's not the internet, it's human nature to take sides when a debate is on, and every site has its own "acceptable" views on things.

If you're a liberal like most of us here, you probably "didn't notice" that almost every conservative opinion on here is shouted down, because you agreed with the popular opinion. Same goes for everywhere.
