That's horrible, OP. I'm so sorry.

That said, unfortunately it doesn't surprise me... I love the premise of Free Hugs, but I always questioned it and the potential for the huggers (if you will) to either take advantage or be taken advantage of themselves. :/

The problem is there are both creeps and genuinely nice people, and you don't kow which is which - and that sorta sucks.

Same. I'm sure there are nice people out there who just want to make others happy and spread love, but you never know if you'll get one of those people or someone looking to cop a feel. I'd avoid someone wearing that sign too, I think.

I only know of one person to ever wear a "free hug" sign, and she seems incapable of making people uncomfortable. As in she wouldn't do things you were uncomfortable with.

So I never had any idea of this side.
