Hmm, I saw a few episodes of this once. It was interesting. But there were quite a few characters that appeared to have been quite small children when they died? I know it can happen, but that's pretty uncommon.

That was my first thought, too. I didn't immediately see the halos on the other characters, so I thought, "Okay, show about people with fruit on their heads. Why not; it's not the weirdest premise I've ever seen."
