I've seen the word used this way for women too.

I was actually wondering if it would apply to men (especially when with a woman, rather than another man). I've seen it used this way for women, and even if people are trying to reclaim the word "slut" I don't really like that if my partner and I were equally enthusiastic about having sex, I would be a slut and he wouldn't. ESPECIALLY if it meant he thought he got to call me a slut and whatnot during sex, but I had to only say positive and admiring things about him.

Sometimes I really don't like being female when it comes to sex and relationships. I hate the "role" that comes with it.

Definitely an equal opportunity descriptor.

I'm mostly a slash reader so obviously my perspective is skewed, but I see it in reference to male characters all the time.

However, it does usually apply to the passive/receiving partner's behavior, so make of that what you will.

What the hell kind of relationships have you been in? Jesus.
