That my fics are too vanilla and G-rated for fandom. I mean, they're PG-13 and not that vanilla by my standards, but there's no sex scenes, no incest, no handcuffs...

If it helps, those are the types of fanfics I prefer to read. Just to let you know, there are others who like that kind of writing and seek it out.

I don't read fanfic for sex scenes, as a rule. I mean, if it's an actual canon couple, I may be OK with it--or even a previously unrevealed bit of backstory of a minor character and your OC, But yeah, I don't need to see your fantasy pairing fucking.

I like sexy stuff. I write sexy stuff. And after a while I stopped trying to write sexyfic that was not at all going to fit in canon. I created my own characters to be able to write the sexy stories I write. I don't really read fanfic for sexy times now.

I say this, but if I ever go back to fanfic, well, yeah, I might write some sex!fic. But I know it'll be half OC's, or so out-of-character they may as well be OC's.
