(Anonymous) 2014-11-01 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)I don't have dog in this particular fight, but most of my ships are based on chemistry regardless of canon orientation. I gravitate mostly towards m/m and f/f pairings where the characters work well together but I'll admit to have shipped canonly gay male characters with female characters (Kurt and Rachel from Glee had far more chemistry with each other than they did with anyone else and I stand by that) even though I would be completely against those pairings being made canon because of the unfortunate implications

(Anonymous) 2014-11-01 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)I actually am aware that a) it's just shipping and nobody gets hurt and b) sexuality is fluid. But I can't really help myself. But I'm good with ignoring those fics, which is why people not tagging properly annoys me so much.
