Nope. You are evading the issue that OP's secret is actually about lack of popularity, or in OP's words, lack of general response to OP's friend's fics because they are so shitty nobody cares for them.

Not OP, but aren't there dozens of posts in this comm where someone doesn't want to point out/disagree with a friend on fandom issues (and may or may not want anon advice on how to do that)?
