Elementary is just too long and same-y. I liked Mycroft though. And Joan was interesting.

Oh, Joan was awesome at first. And I was interested in Mycroft. But then everything became a trainwreck. I think Joan sleeping with Mycroft was the moment when I noped out - that, or the return of Moriarty. (seriously, stop. ACD canon consists almost entirely of small cases. That is the POINT).

But yeahh the cases kind of lacked... conceptual diversity, for the lack of a better term.

It was an ill thought out move from the creators. -/ I watched the series on and off, so it didn't make me quit, but, yeah.

I like this term! Very fitting.
