My mom had to be rushed to the ER, and into emergency surgery. Apparently she has appendicitis.

Oh no! I hope she's okay, anon!

She seems to be okay now. Apparently she caught it just before it burst, and it was three times the size of a regular appendix. It was really concerning for the four+ hours before the surgery, though--she was delirious from the pain, and couldn't even walk. They're keeping her at least overnight, but she's generally okay.
