Oh, there are plenty people that don't like shipping fics. But there's a huge difference between "I wish there were more things I like" and "Things I DON'T like should not be allowed"

Quality has rarely anything to do with content, at least not on the general level of "has romance" or "doesn't have romance". There's good gen fic. There's good ship fic. There's terrible gen fic. There's terrible ship fic.
