I find this weirdly hilarious and also kind of relatable? I mean, I never said "ew this is so gross I bet people ship it" but I've done that thing where even though I didn't personally ship a certain pairing at all, finding out that there were way fewer fics for that pairing than I thought there would be made me bizarrely offended on behalf of the pairing's hypothetical non-existent fanbase (Shawn/Gus in Psych, if anyone's wondering...)

I do that, too. I have occasionally been tempted to write pairings I have no interest in just because fic for them needs to exist, dammit.

I was in that fandom for a bit in hopes of finding Shawn/Gus, and it was pretty offensive and depressing. All Shawn/Lassiter, which is cute in its own right, but still. Fandom loves its white cock.
