Daryl/Rick and Daryl/Glenn are already pretty popular if AO3 gives any indication.

I just hope that if they introduce another bi/gay male character to be his love interest that he isn't fucking annoying (or totally butchered by most fanfic writers) because you know there will be hundreds of fanfictions about it.

That's one of the things I worry about. Either that, or they'd butcher Daryl's character to get him into a relationship - and I don't just mean by making him more stereotypically gay or whatever.
