I know a lot of FSers are into MCU/Winter Soldier -- and I have recommended the DW comm mcugen before -- But today's post looks really interesting, so I'm dropping the info here for anyone who might not have caught it on DW or tumblr (C&P from the DW entry)"

If you want to see some neat collaborative storytelling at work, [tumblr.com profile] howtheymakeyouaweapon hosts both links to fic related to How They Make You a Weapon by [archiveofourown.org profile] monicawoe ("Lovingly detailed dark!fic about the process by which Hydra turned Bucky into the Winter Soldier") and the accompanying comics adaptations by [tumblr.com profile] luckyraeve of portions of the fic.

I liked the fic, but I'm loving the incredible art. Beautiful and distressing and very detailed and rich.

You know, I'm not "into" the MCU fandom, but the few stories I've seen recced on that comm that I've decided to dip into have been fantastic.
