It might not swell up if it's not an infection, so be sure to check for other signs of infection. Seriously, though, if it's spreading that's probably not anything good. Are you up to date on your tetanus shot?

i can't remember the last time i had a tetanus shot :/

it does feel very warm. so it's possibly an infection. the other thing i thought it could be is a blood clot since the medication i'm on can cause clots in a very small percentage of cases.

i'm gonna go see my GP this afternoon. hopefully it's nothing too serious.
