But I don't think that was the actual point of the comic. I feel the point is that encouragement opens up thousands of possibilities, regardless of whether they're career oriented or not (that was likely the most impactful image thus the artist chose to go with it), but discouragement just leads to absolutely nothing.

The words are just as important as the imagery. :)
