I'm just getting sick and tired of bashing other movies to try and get people to see this one.

Seriously, you hate Frozen, we get it.

Frozen also made $1.072 billion worldwide, so maybe try not bashing the fans of it to get them to see your new fav movie?

The worst part of the Frozen-bashing is it comes across like different movies can't be good for different reasons. One is about sisterly love! One is about Hispanic characters in a very Hispanic context! Both of these things are great! Bashing one doesn't elevate the other!

Exclamation points! Because I've had to bite my tongue for the past week around certain friends who don't! get! it!

Honestly? At this point, if I hadn't made plans to go see it with a friend (who has seen I, genuinely enjoys it, and whose opinon on movies I trust), I would be so tempted to just ignore it at this point, given that I literally haven't heard anything about the plot or how good it actually is, just that it's better than Frozen!!!1!!! which is so goddamn subjective (a) and (b) doesn't actually tell me anything about the goddamn story.
