A lot of people I follow on tumblr are freaking out over it and praising it nonstop and... honestly? Even from the trailers I kind of had a feeling that it was regular fare made out to be bigger than it really is. I keep reading that it's an amazing representation of the culture and how it's "not racist like those other movies" and how the female characters in the movie are SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANNA AND ELSA (why is bashing Frozen even a thing anymore?) and wow it got annoying fast.

Don't get me wrong, it's great that this guy finally made his movie, but maybe there was a reason all the big studios turned him down? It honestly just feels like a bunch of other movies stuffed together and given a cultural flair. Even with tumblr pushing everyone to go see this movie, people are just not interested in it. And it's a great time to watch the movie too, with Halloween and Day of the Dead being so close to the release.

Yah, 'Two men, one woman, Trouble!' is one of the oldest stories in the book. OF LIFE!
It was fun. Not perfect, but fun.
