By implied do you mean 'creator said so but it wasn't in the text'? Otherwise "queerbaiting" and "implied ship" is just fan's own personal interpretations and subjective opinions.

But anyway, I'm with you. I prefer my ships not to be canon, because if they are canon.. I don't feel fannish about them, I don't feel like reading or writing fic, because I have the canon for that. Plus they could do it in ways I don't like and such.
