Except Nazis are Hydra.

Well there was a lot of imprisonment without trial, murder, implied rape, attempted murder, and then all the nazi stuff that nazi controlled shield did that Ward approved of. He also threw away the best pastrami sandwich on earth.

Frankly just that last thing is inexcusable.

If you can't trust a man with your pastrami, then you can't trust the man at all! That should have been a big clue right there.

Rape?

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 12:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you think May would have slept with Ward if she had known he was a Hydra Agent? That is obtaining sex by deception, and that is called Rape.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you know how many people have raped and been raped if rape can be defined as "I didn't tell the person everything about myself before we had sex?"

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
If you're hiding something that would stop sex occurring if known, then you are committing rape. You are also very skeevy.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Let me ask you something.

your partner has an STD. They know and don't tell you. you sleep with them, get infected.

You're probably going to feel violated.

It's the same principle.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-08 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
still not rape. stop misusing the word.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
She may not have known that, but she still was the one that initiated the sexual relationship, not Ward.

She did beat the hell out of him after she found out though.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Legally speaking it doesn't matter who initiated it. The clinching factor is would sex have taken place if it had been disclosed. That is why, if you want to have sex with someone, you need to have full disclosure.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-08 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
do you feel the same way about trans people not disclosing it before having sex?

(Anonymous) 2014-11-08 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yep. I'd judge the person who had a problem with it harshly if it turned out to be a deal breaker, but if they are so transphobic that it would be a deal breaker, then they would almost certainly feel violated if they found out afterwards. And if your partner is leaving you feeling violated by sex then that is called rape. Also, form loving relationships before sex people and talk about crap like this, come on it isn't rocket surgery. Sex involves two people (at least), and both have to be fully informed. The transperson has to know they aren't boinking a transphobe and the transphobe (as icky as they are) has a right to know they aren't having sex with the very incarnation of the people they hate/fear.
