(Anonymous) 2014-11-07 12:39 am (UTC)(link)Hell, I love a lot of villain characters, but liking them and wanting them to get better (in some cases) doesn't mean I think they should avoid the consequences of their actions. On the contrary, characters (especially villainous ones) are made MORE interesting by being confronted with the reality of what they've done.

And I fully believe in redemption (not that I necessarily want it for Ward, but that's another matter).
But becoming a better person, doesn't mean you were always good. It does not erase the fact you once were evil. People are not one thing at all times in their lives.
