I'll give them a pass on Lazerbomb, because Lazerbeak's sapience was dubious at best in that continuity, but the rest of it. Yeah, they kinda sucked. All the Autobots committed straight up warcrimes and were never really called on it at all. At least Starscream and Knockout got called on their shit, and treated like buttmonkeys because of it. With Megs, Soundwave, and Shockwave being flat out evil. The Vehicons and and Breakdown were just boring mooks.
