Haha, for me there's no third Alien movie. I gotcha though. The only reason I like it is because they show a lot of the aliens and I really like that. Most of the people were pretty irrelevant, including fake!Ripley.

Say what you will about Alien 3, IMO it's a better film in every respect. It's not a perfect movie by any means (then again neither is Aliens) but I'd sooner watch that than watch Joss Whedon shit in the heart of one of my favourite franchises.

Sometimes I feel like there should be only one Alien movie.

No. Aliens was something beautiful, albiet in a different genre. And Alien 3 gave us the variant DNA. Which gave us the silliest toys!

Well, I don't really consider the fourth to be good by any stretch of the imagination lmao. It's a pretty terrible movie. But it gives me good alien visuals and that's what I care about.

The third is just pretty bluh to me. I tried to give it another shot a few years ago and eeehh, still nothing. I'll probably try to give it another go. Maybe this weekend!

I wouldn't mind if there were only two movies tbh.
