If you want to do it right then make sure that 1) you're still alive at the end of it, 2) you've learned something beneficial through all of it, and 3) you are doing good or truly intend to do some good for yourself and for others.

It doesn't have to be all bad. You can change into something you're happy with, or at least comfortable with.
