I hate when people do the what are you doing for the weekend thing here, because it reminds me that I hardly ever have plans.

I hate when people do the "what are you doing for the weekend" thing, because it swamps every other thread. I wish they'd put it below the "games" section.

Haha, that's true. I often reply to those threads and I rarely have anything interesting going on.

A lot of the comments are along the lines of 'I dunno, I'll just do stuff I guess.'

See, doing stuff sounds like a perfect weekend to me, but I guess I don't have high expectations. (Which is fine! My idea for this weekend was 'play more Dragon Age, maybe watch a movie or two'.)

Hey, doing stuff is great. I goofed around on the internet, made mac and cheese, and now I'm watching the second season of Hannibal. (Bodies in horses...ew.) Tomorrow I might go to Church and maybe take a walk to see the leaves.

Call me crazy, but it doesn't seem like we have that many people on here talking about their crazy weekend plans for partying in Paris, scuba diving in the Caribbean, or hang gliding. Most people seem to be doing...stuff.

Walks (and leaves) are lovely! Sounds relaxing. ...Hannibal however, not so much. (Relaxing, that is. IMO the horse bit was one of the most disgusting parts of the season, but holy shit dat finale.)

...Don't think I've ever seen anything remotely like that in GC. I'm sure someone has done those things, but I don't recall them being brought up here. Usually when people have plans it's to hang out with their family or loved ones, or to see movies, go to a con, travel for work, etc etc.

(Your mention of scuba diving in the Caribbean is making me miss Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. No, I don't actually want to go scuba diving, but I'll do it in a video game!)

There are so many parts of this series where I have to close my eyes because I can't handle that much torn up flesh and icky. Moreso in season 2 than season 1.

I would so go scuba diving if I could. I dunno how much those oxygen tanks weigh though, and I don't want to mess up my back.

Both are pretty icky, but I definitely think they upped the gore for season two. Not often do I go, “Okay, Ew, not looking at that,” but I felt that way a few times with Hannibal. I wonder if next season is going to be worse in that respect? I can't imagine how that's possible, but I bet they'll try.

Eek, I hadn't thought of that... Yet another reason to do stuff instead.

Yeah, I mean sometimes I might be volunteering down at the nature reserve but apart from that...
I mean the last time I was out of my home county was for my Alton trip, that was two months ago.

Ooo, the nature reserve sounds fun! I'm sure your roller-coaster trip was exciting as well, but since I have a pretty terrible fear of heights I can't say I'm jealous of that one... It's an interesting hobby to have though!

I don't mind your 'weekend update' posts! It offers good variety. Though now I realized that I'm getting your icon mixed up with iceyred. I can't explain that one...

Hey, don't feel bad for being one of us lazy un coordinated.
Our plans of Junkfood, Sleeping in, and watching / playing something to kill the hours is a perfectly valid choice.

I get mad jealous because I have nothing to say but, "working every weekend, jerrrrrrk".
