Gala, Gaia, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Winesap, Rome, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith ... others I can picture but don't know the names of.

The only variety I really dislike is Red Delicious, because they are almost always flavorless. I don't favor Macintosh for eating (they're too "grainy-soft"), but they are great to make into cobblers, crisps, and applesauce.

I like to mix Mactintosh, Gala and Honeycrisp when I bake a pie for a good "apple" flavor. But I agree, Macintosh aren't the best to eat.
