That does not, in fact, mean that they are wrong or the Gamergate side is right.

At least gamergate polices their own, exposed the brazilian journalist behind the Anita death threat, actively shuts down anyone throwing around doxxing information of anti-gGGers, tries to keep people's attention on the journalists.

Do they? do they really? Because all I see is people making threats or saying gross shit and people saying no they don't count they're not REALLY GAMERGATE. meanwhile they won't shut up about how awful feminism is and how there's no reason to associate social issues with games blah blah blah. Someone who tells you not to care about sexism, racism or homophobes is either a bigot themselves or trying to sell something to bigots.

it is transparently clear to any and all outside observers of this whole gamergate thing that most of the people involved are just trying to find a justification for their bigotry and awful behaviour.

if they ever had a true point to make, it's long since been lost.
