And yet I'm taking the suggestions that come with general respect seriously. Parts of this thread have set me well on the way toward deciding to vaccinate for polio, measles, mumps, rubella, and whooping cough.

Another part of this thread is convincing me that many people who consider themselves pro-vaxxers are doing their cause a huge disservice with their presentation.

Well, the whole point that some people (or maybe one person?) are/is putting so extroardinarily rudely is that it's not just their life. Vaccination affects a lot of people and herd immunity is really important - that's why OP should be vaccinated if they can.
