This is exactly why CAPSLOCK!Harry from OotP is by far my favorite mode of Harry. I love him. So much. He is so completely ridiculous and idiotic (I say this with affection) and manages to feel so real in spite of the fact that he's in a situation that basically no one alive can relate to, but a lot of people can imagine.

I never understand people who complain about Harry's behavior in that book. I was in like fifth grade when the book came out, and even not having heard of things like PTSD yet, it seemed pretty obvious to me that Harry was still hurting/traumatized from the events of the fourth book, and then getting relentless attack propaganda thrown at him on top of that.

I mean, yeah, he made a huge mistake that got someone killed, I'm not even denying that. But for fuck's sake, people were pinning their hopes and impressions about an entire war on a traumatized teenager, who still spent the better part of the year trying to help people (i.e. teaching the DA) and dealing with the war as it was happening (i.e. Nagini's attack on Arthur). What the fuck did they expect?

Oh, yes, completely. I liked capslock!Harry so much better than HBP!Harry who seemed to be over Sirius' death far too quickly and wasn't feeling any of the pressure that he should have been feeling.
