No rain. I'll take all the snow, but the rain is just awful. Especially when it is so windy that my umbrella blows inside out.

That's annoying but I'll take it over megadrought, essentially

Seconded. I live in a coastal city and I've discovered that umbrellas are pretty much useless. They just get broken every time it's raining&you're soaking wet.

I'm all for mighty winds and snow. No rain, thanks.

....I take you've never had to shovel your front door out before you can even open it, have you?

I have done that quite a few times, actually? I still prefer this to rain.

Maybe I was unclear. I meant shovel it out from the inside. D-:

That said, if you're a shovel-wielding superhero, able to lift great loads of snow in one scoop, more power to you. I...am not.

no, I'm not saying that everyone should have the same preferences, obviously, or that I'd like it if it always snowed! I absolutely get where people are coming from when they say they'd rather have rain.

(although I'm... not terribly sure I understand how a situation would arise where you'd have to shovel your front door out from the inside before you can open it. Should I take it to mean that there is snow in the house? If so, how come the door is closed in the first place?..)
