You remind me of this guy who showed up in a community I used to go to on livejournal. He kept going around telling everyone what is and isn't funny (Monty Python was completely bereft to him, which is why I was reminded), and when people would be like "okay, but that's just your opinion," he'd say "don't you know who I am?" and link to some community where he was nominated to be President of Livejournal.

Idk, I think it's funny. But that's because I've been sent a pretty good-sized wave of hate from Gamergate folks when I said that I didn't agree with like 90% of Sarkeesian's opinions, but I respect her freedom to make them. So basically it's not even the phrase itself, it's how it riles up a bunch of whiny babies that I find funny.
