What is something that has been pointed out to you (or you have noticed) that you can no longer unsee (for better or worse)? Beware for learning about things you will never forget.

Thanks to the internet, I can no longer look at Tom Cruise smiling without noticing his front tooth. This sucks because I love Tom Cruise as an actor. Fortunately, he does a lot of action roles that require a determined/mad face.

Also, the day I realized as a child that objects that will be interacted with in cartoons will look different changed my viewing experience. I used to love pointing it what book or rock would be interacted with to other people like some kind of psychic.

The only one I can recall right off is the "end of reel" mark on old movies (which I think I've actually seen once or twice on films that have been transferred to DVD.)

Mostly it's more learning something about a work or author or performer that bugs me enough to destroy the enjoyment I previously had of it (but atm I can't think of a single example, go figure. :p)

I generally avoid learning about authors/creators because I don't want to be focused on something terrible when trying to consume media. For actors and such, most of the stuff I see that is "problematic" is overblown.

What's wrong with his front tooth?

It is centered (so the gap between his front teeth is not where it should be). I think due to having work to fix it when he was became popular.

A good friend gave me a mental image of Holmes and Watson dancing on a table to Hava Nagila. I don't think I'll ever unsee this one.

I think the government is the least of the problems when it comes to reality. Though, I don't know why they don't try and contact law enforcement. Show them a vampire damnit!

That Jeremy Renner has a potato head. His head looks like a potato with facial features.

Huh, I've always heard Channing Tatum referred to as potato-head. Although now I'm wondering if that's just a pun on his Tatum/Tater last name?
