Visit /v/ frequently and realise that it doesn't need to be faked. I'm unfortunately addicted to /v/, and despite hiding "culture" threads, I still see enormous amounts of extreme vitriol thrown on a daily basis.

The whole thing basically was what put me off 4chan forever. /v/ used to be cool when I was in high school, but now the board's been taken over by screaming manchildren and porn spammers. You couldn't even escape it by going to other boards, because it metastasized into the entire site. Even after I heard that moot banned the threads from being created, I just can't really bring myself to go back, because the board culture's turned so hostile to anyone who voices a different opinion from the norm.
