Not seen that episode. I was more of a Major Kira DS9 afficionado.

So, funny story, I distinctly remember when this episode originally aired and Janeway's running all around the ship with the big-ass gun. And my mom goes, "Wow, this couldn't possibly be more of a direct Alien reference unless she took off her uniform top." And 10 seconds later, she did and my mom laughed so hard I think she missed like the next 5 minutes of the episode.
