(Anonymous) 2014-11-12 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)Shipper wars happen when a vocal minority of the non canon ship fans (not limited to slash fans) are desperate to prove that their ship is the real thing and/or better than the canon het ship, so they start butchering the canon couple to prove their point.
This is what the OP of this thread did in that secret and they seem to be butthurt now, because people understood their tactic and told them so. So they want to be told that they are right and that they weren't 'having petty shipper wars' and 'shitting on the het ship to seek validation for their slash ship'.
