That being said? They're overusing him. X-Men was always an ensemble titl. It's frustrating to see the same characters rehashed and retconned over and over while so many cool one haven't even been on screen yet.

(Anonymous) 2014-11-13 12:27 am (UTC)(link)I liked first class, then they spoiled it by linking it to the other x-movies. So I lost interest.

I bought a comic after the first Xmen because I liked Wolverine. He has a backstory that he was experimented on that I found interesting. (And the only other comic I have is a few Spider Man issues. I'm more of a manga reader.)

(Anonymous) 2014-11-13 03:49 am (UTC)(link)I always thought that Hugh!verine was kind of generic, but I liked him in the first movie. He's just not a strong enough character to be the break-out character they're forcing him to be. I feel like he's being shoved in our faces like, "See? It's Wolverine! You love Wolverine! Don't you want more Wolverine? He's got cake!" Except there is no cake, and he's not that awesome, and it's just kind of awkward.
