As long as you don't go around trashing fic that dares to not have smut in it as "childish" and "prudish", and wondering why on earth other people want more plotty or idea-based fic when they could just be reading great smut instead, who gives a shit? Fandom is a hobby, not a duty. It's exclusively for you - your ONLY responsibility in fandom is to be respectful of other fans in your discussions, posts, and fanworks.

(I only give that example of What Not To Do because I've actually seen people do this. Hard to believe, but I've really seen it happen.)
