There are no other superpowers, in fact many of us are getting more concerned about finding someone to protect us from America. Its one of the prime motivators behind closer EU ties.

I mean, I could talk about how there are other superpowers like, you know, Russia and China, but shit, you guys couldn't even manage to perform military operations against fucking Libya without the US doing most of the actual heavy lifting

fucking Libya, the country with the most clown shoes military

Its an economic cooperative, we're no more in thrall to Germany than Michigan is to New York.

It's an economic cooperative that's dominated by Germany and going to become more so as time goes on

Its called diplomacy, and the reason Russia is coming out of it so well right now was that we let the US push us into yet another damn proxy pissing contest. If we'd not been trying to advance US hegemony, then Russia wouldn't be such a problem for us.

ahahahahahahahahaha

I straight up can't even respond to this, lol. you're basically just saying 'Russia doesn't conflict with our interests, we just define anything that Russia wants as something we're not interested in'

I seriously can't even grasp what kind of absurd logic can write this off as "the US pushing the EU into a proxy pissing contest"
